Terms of Service
By using Scrutio you agree to these terms. We've kept them clear and fair — here's what you need to know.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Scrutio ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Description of Service
Scrutio is an AI-powered code review platform that integrates with GitHub to automatically analyze pull requests. The Service uses artificial intelligence models to identify potential issues including logic errors, security vulnerabilities, and performance problems.
The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis. AI-generated reviews are suggestions only and do not constitute professional advice. You remain solely responsible for all code changes and deployment decisions.
Account Registration
Access to the Service requires authentication via GitHub OAuth. You must have a valid GitHub account and grant the necessary permissions for the Service to function.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Use of Your Code
When you connect a repository, Scrutio receives pull request diffs (not your full codebase) via GitHub webhooks. These diffs are transmitted to AI model providers solely for the purpose of generating code review feedback.
- Diffs are not stored after review generation is complete.
- Your full source code is never accessed or stored by Scrutio.
- AI providers process data according to their own privacy policies.
- You retain full ownership of all code submitted to the Service.
Credits and Billing
The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each AI review consumes credits based on the size of the pull request diff. Credits are allocated monthly based on your plan and do not roll over to the following period.
Paid plans are billed in advance. Refunds are not provided for unused credits or partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Submit malicious code, exploits, or content designed to harm others.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's APIs.
- Circumvent credit limits or billing systems.
- Interfere with the Service's infrastructure or other users' access.
Intellectual Property
The Scrutio platform, including its design, software, and brand, is owned by Scrutio and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without express written permission.
AI-generated review output is provided for your use. You may incorporate it into your workflow, but we make no warranties about its accuracy or completeness.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. AI reviews may contain inaccuracies.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scrutio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by disconnecting your GitHub integration and ceasing use of the Service. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
Upon termination, your account data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the competent courts of the jurisdiction where Scrutio operates.
